Maria and Daniel Staton are committed philanthropists who support organizations and initiatives that strengthen the communities where they live. Their philanthropic efforts focus on causes that are personally meaningful to them, including: 

The Staton Family supports the MIT Edgerton Center, which provides hands-on STEM outreach programs for K–12 public school students and teachers. Programs span mechanical and electrical engineering, computer programming, biology, optics, and forensic science.

In 1990, the Staton family co-founded The Wellness Community of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky to provide free emotional support, education, and hope for individuals with cancer and their families. In a welcoming, home-like environment, the organization has supported thousands of people affected by cancer.

In 2011, the organization became Cancer Support Community Greater Cincinnati–Northern Kentucky. Today, it continues its mission of ensuring that everyone impacted by cancer is empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community.

The Staton Family provides scholarships to students at Boca Ballet Theatre, helping cover tuition and uniforms so that talented young dancers can pursue their passion.

Founded in 1991, Boca Ballet Theatre is one of Florida's premier civic ballet companies. Through its professional training programs, community performances, and educational outreach, the organization has inspired thousands of students and audiences throughout South Florida.
